Specialist in crypto exchange-traded products, 21Shares, has appointed Mandy Chiu as the head of financial product development. Chiu, based in London, will be responsible for overseeing the global expansion of 21Shares’ product portfolio and collaborating with partners like Ark Invest.
Having spent two decades working in exchange-traded funds (ETFs), Chiu aims to bridge the gap between traditional finance and decentralized finance.
Chiu spent seven years at ETF Securities before joining 21Shares, where she contributed to capital markets and held the role of director of product strategy. She also worked with HSBC Asset Management for two years as an assistant director of ETF product structure and research.
Chiu expressed her enthusiasm to lead the charge in terms of innovating, extending product offerings, and providing excellent value to 21Shares clients.
Her choice corresponds to a year defined by the ongoing evolution of products at 21Shares. During this time, the business launched a number of cryptocurrency-related ETPs.
