Dow futures ease, United Airlines moves 4.7% lower after-hours

During Tuesday’s evening trades, US stock futures were trading slightly down as the quarterly results season picked up momentum. Investors were also intently following news of the developing Israel-Hamas conflict. The Dow Jones Futures, S&P 500 Futures, and Nasdaq 100 Futures all declined by 0.1% by 6:30 PM ET (10:30 PM GMT). Extended transactions saw a 4.7% decline in United Airlines Holdings Inc (NASDAQ: UAL) as the business posted Q3 EPS of $3.65 versus $3.41 anticipated and revenues of $14.48 versus $14.43 predicted. JB Hunt Transport Services Inc (NASDAQ: JBHT) experienced a 3.6% decline after reporting Q3 EPS of $1.80 compared to $1.85 anticipated. In contrast to expectations of $3.18 billion, revenue was announced at $3.16 billion. Market players will be anticipating comments from Waller, Williams, Bowman, Harker, and Cook as well as building permits and home starts in Wednesday’s deals.
